Archos, one of the first companies to have produced a tablet, has announced a unique product of its kind.
It is a tablet Android, but with something that until now had never seen an actual 250GB hard drive. Rise to justifiable doubts about its usefulness, but the campaign is only the beginning of the tablet and you are not yet well defined direction.
They are going to replace laptops as we know them? If the answer to this question should be yes then there's definitely need more storage capacity.
Archos G9 may be the first response to this need. With an integrated 2.5-inch hard drive and a 4GB flash memory to speed things up in September we had to see two versions. One from $ 369 and an 8-inch screen, the other for $ 469 and a 10-inch screen.
For the rest, little is known. All we know is that it will mount a dual core processor OMAP 4460 processor, or that Google has taken to the Ice Cream Sandwich devices. So Archos G9 is ready for the future.
Do you think can really be useful to a tablet with a 250GB hard drive?
